ABOUT CASE MANAGEMENT & TRACKING SYSTEM (CMTS)

The Case Management & Tracking System (CMTS) was developed by WingSwept, a NC based technology firm, to provide an affordable and efficient method for tracking investigative cases. More specifically, its purpose was to capture related information across the entire life-cycle of a case, from the first call to the Hot-Line to final case disposition. CMTS software is an industry specific product unlike its competitors. It has been meeting the specific needs of the OIG community since 2004. It has since evolved to meet the needs of other organization that have a requirement for work flow, case data tracking, Hot-Line calls, and /or data management needs.

CMTS provides an efficient reporting system that streamlines investigation processes. Streamlining operations within organizations can result in more efficient investigations that comply with regulations and provide detailed tracking of information. On-going communication within the Federal, State and Local arenas indicate there are still organizations that rely on hard copy files and manual data tracking when it comes to case management. Often times, the best tracking available was inefficient and placed more of a burden on the investigative staff and allowed agencies to miss opportunities to do more with less. We have tapped into that market space and have collaborated with our clients to help bring them into a more automated environment that provides unique features and investment benefits for better management of their case data and tracking needs.

Before turning to CMTS, the organizations often had outdated and inconsistent home-made systems that were MS Excel or Access based and not user-friendly across the board.
